Export contacts from Promote

You can now export contacts from Promote to CSV. This makes it easier to take your contact data with you for further work—for example, for analysis and processing in Excel or for creating customer lists for advertising on Meta. You can select which contacts to include by using the search and filter options in Contacts. You can then choose between a custom export or an export for Meta.
Customize the export to suit your needs
With Custom Export, you choose which information to include in the CSV file. For example, you can export names and contact information along with details about:
- Consent
- Contact lists
- Recent purchases
- Total purchase amount
- Purchased tickets and items
This allows you to create a file containing exactly the information you need for further analysis, follow-up, or other work with your contacts.
Export to Meta
If you want to use your contacts for advertising, you can instead select “Export to Meta.” Promote will then automatically create a CSV file containing the contact information that Meta can use to match people with users on the platform.
By default, only contacts who have consented to marketing are included. You can also include other contacts, but in that case, you are responsible for ensuring they are used in accordance with your organization’s privacy policy.
The file is downloaded to your computer and can then be uploaded as a customer list in Meta Ads.
