Tickster launches Resale – secure secondary ticketing on the organizer’s terms

by Jonas Lyckander

Tickster has launched Resale, a fully integrated secondary ticketing solution within its platform, enabling ticket holders to resell tickets directly via their MyTickster accounts—without relying on external marketplaces.

The solution is designed to give event organizers full control over the resale process. Organizers can decide which tickets are eligible for resale, set price limits (on the Danish market, resale is limited to a maximum of the original purchase price), and retain a share of the transaction fees—helping protect both pricing integrity and the overall customer experience. In addition, organizers retain access to relevant customer data generated through resale transactions, providing a more complete view of ticket flows and audience behavior.

At the same time, Resale enhances security and simplicity for end users. Buyers are guaranteed valid tickets within a trusted environment, while sellers benefit from a seamless process with secure payments and no need to interact with unknown parties.

With this launch, Tickster brings secondary ticketing back into the primary ecosystem—supporting a more controlled and sustainable ticketing market.

Tickster’s resale functionality is now available to event organizers and ticket buyers on the Swedish and Danish markets.
