Save time by copying events

by Frida Ekelund

Do you often create events with a similar setup? Then you don’t have to start from scratch every time. With the Copy Event feature, you can quickly create new events based on something you’re already happy with — making your workflow faster, smarter and more consistent.

Start from an event you’re happy with

If you already have an event where everything feels right — ticket structures, descriptions, design, and product setup — you can simply copy that event and use it as a template for the next one.

This way, you build on something that already works perfectly.

Or create a dedicated template event

If you run many similar events, another smart option is to create a “Template – Event” that isn’t sold, and copy it every time you set up something new.

A perfect way to keep a consistent structure and avoid missing important settings.

It’s this simple

  1. Go to EventsCopy Event
  2. Select the event you want to copy — your template event or any existing event you like
  3. Choose what you want to include (tickets, products, images, descriptions, etc.)
  4. Set the name and date for the copy
  5. Create one or several copies at once — you can even auto-increase the date day by day if needed

A bonus for those working with shared inventory

When copying an event, you’ll also get the option “Yes, create inventory copies” if you want your shared inventory to come along to the new version. Very useful if you work with many show dates or recurring performances.

Whether you use a dedicated template event — or simply copy an event you’re happy with — the copy function is one of the quickest and most efficient ways to work smart in Tickster Manager.
